BIPOC Parents and Caregivers of Neurodivergent Youth Support Group

Meets virtually on the first Thursday of the month 6:30-7:30pm PST

Led by Sepideh Kittleson, MSW, LSWAIC (she/her), a first-generation Iranian immigrant mother to two neurodivergent children, with support from Mar Rodriguez, MSW, LICSW (they/them), a nonbinary, neurodivergent, second generation immigrant from Cuba, this group is intended to be a space where BIPOC parents and caregivers of ND children can share experiences, build community, seek support/resources, and have their experiences understood and validated. The group intends to center the unique challenges that arise at the intersection of race, culture, and raising ND children as well as the unique strengths each others' backgrounds and cultures lend to facing these difficulties.

The group is open to ALL BIPOC parents and caregivers of neurodivergent children, not just those being seen at our practice. Please feel free to invite your friends and family who may also find community in this space.

Your child does NOT have to have an "official" diagnosis of neurodivergence for you to attend this group. If you believe your child is neurodivergent, you are welcome in this space!

The group is pay what you want ($0-35) after each session, and you do not need to attend all sessions - just come when you have capacity!!

If it sounds like you might find community and support in this space, you can register here!
